First of all locate the charm area on your cell phone handset. Actually this is a small hole that comes through any one side of the handset wall and cuts through to the other side. The location normally is at the top of the phone near the back side.

Now take your cell phone charm and then pull tightly on the cell phone strap. Try to make it as straight and as narrow possible.

Now slide the narrow rounded end of the cell phone strap through the cell phone strap holes. Pull it through halfway.

Then pull the charm through the half loop of the cell phone strap.

Pull the charm end through the cell phone strap loop and pull it down, so that the strap goes through to the cell phone.

Remember, many handsets do not have the antenna anymore. For these handsets, you will find a small plastic loop near the top or bottom of the handset where you can attach the string. It works best when the string is thin. But it is more likely that the charm will snap off and you will lose it. Therefore find out the best way between the two possibilities, though today you are hardly going to find a cell phone without a charm.
